This was the first Scooter built by F. N. Hermus. She was built out of yellow pine recovered from a water tower on Peter Paiges property in Bellport NY. “She was a double-ender and heavy as hell.” The complete boat and rig was sold to “Mose” Ruland for $100 cash.
