If you are driving a
passenger (non-commercial) vehicle without a trailer,
take Rt. 440 east to the Outerbridge Crossing
and across Staten Island via the West Shore Expressway
and Staten Island Expressway (I-278) to the Verrazano
Bridge. From there take the Belt Parkway-Southern
State Parkway east 43 mi. to Sunrise Highway (Rt.
27 East) 17 mi. to Exit 56 (see Map). Turn right
onto Bellport Ave. (Station Rd.). Go south 2-1/2
mi. to Bellport Dock.
Commercially registered vehicles (trucks, RVs,
trailers, etc) are NOT permitted on Long Island
parkways. Also note that there are relatively
low bridges on the Southern State Parkway, with
less room in the curb lane than in the center
lane.
If you are trailering or driving
a 'commercial' vehicle, use Rt. 80 and proceed
East across the George Washington Bridge and the
Cross Bronx Expressway (I-95) to I-295 (Throgs
Neck Bridge and Clearview Expressway south to
the Long Island Expressway (I-495) east 52 mi.
to exit 65 (See Map ). Turn right onto Horse Block
Road. Go 1 mi. and turn right onto Bellport Ave.
(Station Rd.). Go south 41/2 mi. to Bellport Dock.

on the Bridgeport to Port Jefferson Ferry at (631)
473-0286. From Port Jefferson ferry landing (see
Map), take Rt. 112 south 10 mi. to Horse Block
Road (County Rd. 16). Go east 2-1/4 mi. to Bellport
Ave. (Station Rd.). Go south 4-1/2 mi. to Bellport
Dock.

From the Orient ferry landing take Rt. 25 west
8 mi. to the 'blinker light' in Greenport. Continue
straight on North County Rd., (Rt.48) 20 mi. to
Northville Turnpike (County RD. 43) (see Map).
Go south 1/2 mi. to Rt. 105. Turn left and go
5 mi. to Rt. 104. Bare left and go 1-1/2 mi. to
Rt. 31. Bear right and go 1/2 mi. to Sunrise Highway,
west (Rt. 27). Go west 15 mi. to Exit 57 East
(Horseblock Rd., Brookhaven). Turn right (west)
at the light onto Montauk Highway. Go west 9/10
mile. Just after the firehouse, bear left onto
South Country Rd. (County Rd.36). Pass under the
railroad trestle and continue west 2-1/2 miles
to the traffic light in the Village of Bellport.
Turn left onto Bellport Lane and proceed south
1/4 mi. to Bellport Dock.
