Date: Nov. 07,1989

The meeting was called to order at 8:03 P.M. by Commodore Raynor with 23 members present. The minutes of the last meeting and the Treasurer's report were read and accepted. Bills were presented and a motion was made and carried to pay all bills.

OLD BUSINESS:

A report was made by the secretary on the year-end party, which was not a very good success. With 19 members and spouses the club lost
$235.78.

REPORTS OF COMMITTEES:

None.

NEW BUSINESS:

The election of officers to be held on the first meeting
of next year as terms are for two years.

Peter Zendt suggested that this years party should be held at a local restaurant and everyone order off the menu and pay their own bill as to eliminate any confusion or to cut down on draining the club treasury.
PROPOSALS FOR MEMBERSHIP: Edmund Laviano proposed Stephen Kusa.

GOOD OF THE CLUB:

Commodore Raynor volunteered to install the club sign on the building and also reported that it would have to be hung on the side rather than the roof as the roof is new and a leak could arise if installed on it.

Peter Zendt reported that Wooden Boat magazine contacted him to find the owners of several boats they have pictures of as the magazine will run a feature article in one of their upcoming issues.

The refreshments committee for the next meeting will be Cut Reden and Peter Berman.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:20 P.M.

Respectfully Submitted,

Roy Mawhinney-Secretary
