At 12:00 noon there was 6 to 7 inches of ice in front of the club on the Great South Bay in Bellport, NY. The bottom 4 inches is solid but the top 2 to 3 inches is a mixture of snow and water. Expect your runners to dig in about 1/2 inch. If the breeze holds you should be able to sail. There appears to be dark ice to the west towards Howell's Point, but the eastern portion of Bellport looks good.
