This trophy is donated to South Bay Scooter Club Dec. 1971 and shall be known as the Henry Rant Memorial Trophy. The five small cups presented with this trophy shall be properly engraved and awarded to the first five winners as keeper trophies. After the five have been awarded the club agrees to furnish additional cups with the funds provided at this time.
This is to be a perpetual trophy sailed for in an open race and all scooters in good standing may participate. When possible the race should be sailed on the Great South Bay. If conditions make it difficult or impractical to hold this race on the bay for a period of two seasons then it may be run the third year on a lake designated by the race committee.
